Review: Stila Prime Pot "Taffy"

Stila's prime pot in Taffy is described as a soft beige pink.The consistency is very thin and dries down quickly, like Stila's smudge pots. I find that this works well alone under eyeshadow but works even better with another primer, like the NARS, underneath. When I swatch Taffy on the back on my hand, it definitely shows up a beige pink. When I apply this to my eyelid, it blends into the color of my skintone (NC15). I really like this aspect because it evens out the color of my eyelids. I'm not quite sure how this will work with other skintones but there is another darker shade in "Caramel." This worked better on my lids than the only MAC Paint pot I owned, which was Soft Ochre. I found that this dried down on my lids better and unlike the MAC, this is did not make my eyeshadows crease. This primer instantly mattifies my eyelids but it is still easy to apply and blend my eyeshadow. Definitely check this out if you like the idea of a eyeshadow primer/color correcter (for lighter skintones) and especially if you have oily skin.
