What else you need to know:

I was intrigued by this product when I first heard about it. I love that Tarte is creating all of these products that are formulated with Amazonian Clay. For those that are unfamiliar with Amazonian Clay, Tarte has a little blurb about it on their website that you can find here. I love how smooth the clay blushes felt and how well it lasted on my oily skin that I wanted to give this a try. I have oily skin and it is often difficult to find products that claim to 'illuminate' without the heavy glitter and shimmer and do not emphasize my pores or make me look oily. Tarte's Illuminating Serum is very lightweight and does not feel greasy at all- it has the texture of a very light tinted moisturizer. When it is first applied onto the skin it does have a light beigey-golden tint but it blends into the skin seamlessly. There is no visible shimmer or glitter and I love that about this illuminating serum. It gives a beautiful radiant glow to the skin that works great under foundation or as a highlighter. This is perfect to give the skin that glowy look sans the shimmer. I will definitely be getting the full size when I run out!

I have mixed feelings about this. I really like it mixed with Revlon Colorstay, or patted on top of my cheekbones with a TM, but it doesnt really seem to work well mixed with the Tarte Smooth Operator!
ReplyDeleteHmm that is odd considering that they are both Tarte products and, in theory, should work well together.
